The RAF Mountaineering Association held its annual Summer Week in N Wales at
the beginning of the month, with a focus on climbing and mountaineering. A
number of novices were introduced to single, multi-pitch and sport climbing
and have 'caught the bug' as a consequence. Additionally, the meet was
attended by both regular and veteran members of the Association, which
included new Ulysses Trust supporter, AVM Nick Kurth. Nick continued his
onslaught on 'Classic Rock' routes during the week until rain stopped play unfortunately.
